One night, Percy is waiting impatiently at the station for Henry with the mainline train. He was behind schedule. Henry explains he was running late due to the boat from the mainline being late. (Yeah right, Henry. You were off hugging trees. Don't lie.)
Percy's driver decides to head out. He would really like to sleep sometime.
And there was a naked man on the line!
By the time Percy finishes his run, the sun is up. Percy doesn't mind, it is Egg McMuffin time. He arrives at the station near the airport. And of course, snobby Harold arrives.
I make the same face when I see Harold.
Harold lands just long enough to call Percy out of date and slow. Percy who was tired, doesn't even try to explain.
Percy heads back to the shed to get some shut eye. Duck cheeps, "Good morning, Percy. You're up early."
Percy explains just how wrong Duck is. Percy then sleep backs into the shed and rests.
Give me my Egg McMuffin and coffee.
That evening, Percy's driver decides to get an early start. Thomas is waiting at the station with some bad news. The post person raised a fit over the mail being late. He is blaming The Fat Controller and his engines for the delay instead of the boat. They must worker harder then ever before.
It sucks being an engine.
The engines were about to leave when once again, snobby Harold arrives. Harold spreads the rumor that the mail train is going to the garbage. It is going to become air mail. Thomas just whatevers it.
That is a lot of mail for helicopter. Weight and balance, anyone?
The two head off making their deliveries. They hustled and bustled all night. Things were falling into place for them.
Thomas stops at a station and see a man shivering and cold. The man had missed his train. Thomas' driver decides to take him.
Is it me or does the Station Master's head look wonky?
The next afternoon arrives, Percy pulls up and see Harold. Percy picks on Harold, who fully deserves it. He finds out that the wind is too crazy and he has been grounded.
His wings have been clipped.
Later that night, The Fat Controller has a letter. He shows it to Thomas and Percy. It is from the shivering passenger the night before. (See, the mail is not slow on Sodor.) He has changed his mind on how awful the post train is. Thomas and Percy beam with pride.
Thank goodness, I am not loosing that paycheck.
