Season 2 Episode 12: Pop Goes The Diesel

Duck is one of those engines that never let you forget where they come from. He has to remind everyone that he is a Great Western engine. But, even with that fault he is awesome sauce.

One day, a visitor came with the best theme music ever. The Fat Controller introduces the visitor as Diesel.

Eddie Haskell and Diesel remind me of each other.

Diesel is there for a trial. The Fat Controller sets him up to work with Duck to learn. Diesel even does the whole Eddie Haskell bit. He sucks up to Henry, Gordon, and James.

And what nice pearls you are wearing, Mr. Duck. Is Wallace available?

Duck sees through this bit and has his doubts. Duck yells at Diesel to hurry up and follow him.

Diesel explains to Duck that The Fat Controller is mistaken to think the he needs to learn.  He is a Diesel he knows everything.

Duck not buying it, orders Diesel to gather his trucks while he fetches Gordon's coaches. This gives Diesel a woody for an opportunity to show off.

Duck returns to find that Diesel has taken some rather out of order trucks. The trucks were very difficult to move. Diesel jerked back and forth trying to get them to budge.

You'll pull my groin!

Duck watches from afar and giggles to himself. Diesel is getting more and more pissed off. The brakes on the trucks snap and gears jam.

Duck puffs up to Diesel and sheepishly thanks Diesel for rearranging the trucks for him. Diesel asks, "Don't you want these ones?"

Duck laughs, "Nope fool!" angering Diesel further by Duck just watching him.

It was the best show ever.

Duck puffs off and Diesel is left behind to help clear the mess he made. The trucks begin laughing and singing at Diesel. Ringo even sings it for us, showing us why he was drummer and not a lead singer. Diesel leaves to sulk like a little baby.  And we're left with a cliff hanger.
