Season 3 Episode 26: Thomas and Percy's Christmas Adventure

Our story starts with the introduction of a town deep in the heart of Sodor. It is December and Christmas is near. Thomas promises the villagers they will receive their letters and gifts from him soon. 

And Jane Slicker is getting the present of not having to deal with a jag off on Youtube anymore. Yahoo!

A week later the snow starts falling. Sodor is snowed in. Working was difficult for the engines. They were getting stuck and had to plow everywhere. (I live in Montana, this is life.) 

Thomas and Percy are setting up for their post trains. Thomas mentions that he is so full with Christmas goodness that he will have take an extra truck to the village. Percy gets all bummed that Thomas is not leaving any work for him.

Just then the plans change, Thomas' driver drops the bomb that Thomas is to work at the big station and Percy will take the post train. 

That's a butt hurt face if I ever saw one.

Percy heads down the line with the train. On his way, he is stopped by the fog man with a red light. (Hookers!) Nope, it wasn't hookers. The village is snowed in. He orders Percy to leave his trucks in the siding and get help.

Likely story...

Percy heads to the airfield, to get Harold. Harold is all over the emergency. It must have made him feel wanted and needed. After all, he is kind of a prick.

Before Percy can gather anymore help, Thomas comes up with Terence and the works train. He commands Percy to follow him.

Percy is a people pleaser.

They reach the village where Harold has already arrived. He was dropping food down to the people. Terence meanwhile, was plowing away.  

Yeah he is a little bit dangerous.

The work was done and the village people were please. They call Thomas and Percy the best Santa Clauses ever! Percy was confused about who Santa Claus was even though, he met him last season. (Yep, Percy is starting his downward spiral of dumbness for sure now.)

Thomas sends Percy back to get his post train from the siding. 

It only gets worst from here.

Toby arrives with Henrietta filled with drinks. The villagers drink all night until Toby is the only engine left who was not in his shed. 

The villagers load up Henrietta with gifts and themselves before Toby leaves. They were planning a surprise for the engines.

There better be a Christmas puppy in there.

Toby arrives late, to find everyone is sleeping. He had no idea what the villagers were planning. 

When the engines woke up, they were surprised that the village people had painted and decorated their shed. They even had gifts! (Really, they didn't wake up anyone, kill them, or at least make them goofy with paint flumes?) 

I take that back, they do look high.

And with that we finish season 3.

Season 2 Episode 26: Thomas and The Missing Christmas Tree

It is Dec 23 on the Island of Sodor. The engines are expecting a lot of children and The Fat Controller has his knickers in a bunch to have a great Carol Party. 

The Fat Controller commissions Thomas to gather the Christmas Tree. Thomas pleads to be able to sing carols this year again. The Fat Controller isn't sure if he wants to give Thomas that pleasure. He just gives the old, "We'll see" excuse.

Maybe if you being me back, Mrs. Claus....

Thomas collected the tree with no problem. But, we all know that can not last. On the way back, Thomas runs straight into a slow drift. 

Daaaaaaaammnit!

Thomas begins to panic about being late and The Fat Controller relying on him. Thomas tried to get out but, doing so causes more snow to fall on him.

The other engines, back in civilization where beginning to get angry over Thomas being late.  The Fat Controller interrupts saying that we assume Thomas is stuck or drinking egg nog. Donald and Douglas set off to rescue Thomas.

Spot the stolen faces.

The twins find a huge drift. The snow pile starts to scream, "Help!" One must assume it's Thomas. Donald and Douglas work to free Thomas.

Thomas had it coming.

Once out, the trio sets off to finish the trip. It was night time when they arrived. The Fat Controller and the other engines are waiting for them. The Fat Controller rewards the engines with letting them sing carols.

At the big station, everyone was gathered.

Even Diesel... that grinch.

The Fat Controller starts to MC it from behind a golden podium. He is interrupted by Harold hoovering above him. He brought Santa Claus. Show off!

I'm Harold and I need attention. 

And we end with, Happy Christmas everyone!

Season 1 Episode 26: Thomas' Christmas Party

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Thomas and Toby are crazy busy carrying packages and people down the branch line. 

We are introduced to Mrs. Kyndley. I think of her as a lonely cat lady who waves at the engines daily.

Thomas then heads off the sheds to visit the other engines. They have all been polished and made to look like real gentleengines. Gordon of course, mentions that Thomas looks like crud and his driver will have to take extra care to clean him.

Thomas shakes it off and reminds the engines about Mrs. Kyndley being a superhero and saving them from an accident. She was ill that day but still managed to wave her sexy red dress out a window to warn Thomas of a landslide. Thomas and Toby were so thankful that they gave her gifts. 

What if Mrs. Kyndley out of her mind with fever blew up the hillside to see a train wreck and then in a lucid moment regretted it? That would be a much better story.

Thomas and the gang, agree they all should throw her a Christmas party. The engines and their crew have to first convince The Fat Controller to agree. Being in the spirit, he does agree. But first, they have to save Mrs. Kyndley. She is snowed in. Thomas and Toby are sent. 

Thomas and Toby set off, plowing through the snow like no one's business. Until they reach the cottage, they can't go no further. 

Ah rats, I guess we'll have to turn back and make some coco.

Thomas' fireman points out the insane amount of snow in front of Mrs. Kyndley's house. Mrs. Kyndley peaks out from her window probably moving 11 cats out of the way. 

But, what is this? It's Terence! 

Da doo doo a doo doo (My best Terence theme music)

Terence clears a path to the railway line. Terence being ever so awesome even promises to take care of her cottage while she gone. 

Mrs. Kyndley boards Toby and they all head to the yard. It was dark by the time they arrived. But surprise, the lights turn on!

The Fat Controller from on top of Lego bricks tells the duo what a great job they did. Mrs. Kyndley is so thrilled to have a party that she spoils 2 pairs of Depends. She even mentions she has a thing for Percy which leads to a bunch of peeping, poop pooping, and general railroad noises. Mrs. Kyndley is most likely deaf now. 

To close the episode and the season, we are sung to and it is declared the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER! 

And that Edward is a totally cutie in that hat.
